A convivial Iftar in honor of the university community and international students, March 10, 2026
In an atmosphere of fraternity and cooperation, a joyful and convivial Iftar was organized on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, by the Skikda branch of the General Union of Free Students (UGEL Skikda) in honor of the university community and international students. Many dignitaries were present, including the university rector, Professor Boufendi Toufik, the director of university services, Hamou Rahail, the deans of the faculties, the directors of the student residences, university and student services staff, as well as representatives of civil society, student organizations, and the media.
During his address, Professor Boufendi Toufik expressed his gratitude and special appreciation to all the staff and administrators of the student residences, commending their considerable efforts and unwavering dedication to serving the students and ensuring their well-being during the holy month. He emphasized that the University of Skikda is like a second home for all its members, an environment conducive to their growth, without exception.
This iftar reflected the spirit of one family, uniting the administration, professors, staff, and students in a spirit of solidarity that strengthens the sense of belonging and propels our prestigious university toward excellence.
